This Merritt 18 x 17 3/16 x 36 inch S-Series aluminum tool box with a smooth single door has high quality #8 grade doors, piano style door hinges, automotive grade water resistant door seals and lockable t-handle latches. To create a superior design that provides strength and a longer life this box is made with lap joint welds that provides material overlap in the corner and has an extruded door frame. The tool box door is shipped covered with a protective coating to guard against shipping damage.
